What brands of cars are there in Korea?

1. Hyundai: Founded in 1947, Hyundai Motor Company is a Korean automobile brand that mainly produces SUVs and general family cars with engine displacements of 1.6 to 2.7 liters.

The logo of Hyundai Motor Company is an oval with a slanted letter H inside. The oval represents the Earth, which means that Hyundai Motor Company conducts its global management on the world stage. The slanted alphabet H is the first letter of Hyundai Motor Company's English HYUNDAI. It is a visual art representation of two people shaking hands, representing the mutual trust and support between Hyundai Motor Company and its customers! The oval represents both the car's steering wheel and the Earth, and the combination of the two symbolizes the spread of modern automobiles around the world.

2. Kia: Kia Motors (Kia) is the Kia Motors Group, the oldest automobile manufacturer in Korea. In 2000, it merged with Hyundai Group to create Hyundai-Kia Motors Group. Hyundai-Kia Motors Group is the world's fifth largest automobile manufacturer by sales volume.

Kia's name is derived from the Chinese language, with "Qi" meaning up and "Ya" meaning Asia. Hunger therefore means “from the East” or “from Asia.” The Chinese name, symbolizing the rise of Asia, reflects Kia's ambitions to emerge from Asia and expand globally.

3. Ssangyong: SSANGYONG Automobile Company (Renault Samsung Motors) is a South Korean automobile manufacturer headquartered in Pengrae-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul. It has a manufacturing plant in Gangseo-gu, Busan and a design center and research center in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do. The current representative is Jean Marie Hurtiger, a woman of French nationality. Renault Samsung Motors is a member of the Korea Automobile Industry Association.

4. Daewoo: Daewoo is an automobile company founded by Kim Woo Chung in 1967. It is a central company of the Daewoo Group in Korea and uses the Daewoo trademark, which resembles land and flowers.

Daewoo's trademark extends infinitely into the future like a large 'artery' on a highway, expressing Daewoo's future and will for development. The oval represents the world, the universe. The flower shape spreading upward embodies the creativity and challenging spirit of the Daewoo family. The five solid blue lines and six white stripes in the center represent Daewoo's infinite development potential in various fields. Blue represents youth and vitality, while white represents sacrifice.

The overall trademark embodies the Daewoo family's corporate spirit of wisdom, creation, challenge, and sacrifice, and expresses the Daewoo Group's "Confucian" style.
